Invitation to NOTTERNA - Art in the public space of Don Bosco

This is an invitation!

Friday, 28 May, 19:45 starting point: in front of Alessandriastraße, 47b

Notterna leads you through seven different stations, including multimedia artworks by members of the Südtiroler Künstlerbund and art students of the University of Bolzano. Along with participatory and interactive stations such as an embroidered carpet installation by artist Elisa Grezzani and a sound installation by artist Manuel Oberkalmsteiner, there will be visual art such as a projector installation by artist Luisa Pisetta, a video projection of artist Nicoló Degiorgis and a live drawing performance by artist Guido Mitidieri. Furthermore, the artists Delilah Friedman, Solveigh Artschwager and Jana Friedrichsen will exhibit an art piece that reflects on the main topic of the night – the art of caring.  In addition, you will be guided through a performance by the artist Josefina Sundbald. Altogether, the night will bring art and the neighborhood of Don Bosco closer together and create an open atelier for everyone to access.

Come and join us to live an unforgettable experience!

The artist Elisa Grezzani offers a full-day embroidery workshop, where the results flow directly into the carpet installation.

Notterna is the summer semester project by the students Sarah Solderer, Anu Hakola and Mara Vöcking, from the master course Eco-Social Design. The Project was developed in cooperation with the Südtiroler Künstlerbund and under the supervision of David Calas, Kris Krois and Secil Ugur Yavuz.

My contribution is a sound installation that deals with the sound aesthetics of Don Bosco.
